The Latin name for the 'Larch' (larix) can also be translated as "bow". This name therefore characterizes this hammock stand like no other. With the graceful bowed shape of the sturdy larch wood, mounted in your garden with galvanized steel nuts and bolts and housing a beautiful hammock, you can well and truly relax. After all, the "bow" can't remain tensed all the time!
The larch bows of the stand consist of several layers bonded together. Finished with an oil-based protective coating, the 'Larch' has a warm, robust and very elegant look. The size ensures that family hammocks from all brands can hang perfectly in this stand.
Choosing the right hammock stand is dependent on the total length of the hammock (= canvas + ropes). If the hammock has a total length of 4.00 meters, for example, then the suspension length of the stand must be at least equal at 4.00 meters. Luckily, because the stands are adjustable in terms of suspension length, you can also be a bit more flexible in hanging a hammock tighter or looser.
Suitable for all family hammocks on The Hammock and for hammocks with a total length of 360 - 400 cm. The maximum load capacity is 200 kg.

You do not need any extra mounting material. All stands are supplied in such a way that you can hang your hammock immediately.

Stretch the hammock very well. Then measure the total length of the hammock while stretching it with force. It is best to do this with two people.

Can this wooden hammock stand remain outside?
Yes, certainly. But of course you want to enjoy your stand for as long as possible. That is why we recommend that you store it dry in the autumn/winter and protect it from extreme weather conditions and dirt.
Want to enjoy it for an extra long time? Then make sure that the hammock stand is not under a tree. It stays wet much longer under a tree. It is also best to place the legs on a tile instead of directly in the grass or sand.
How do I maintain my wooden hammock stand?
You can simply clean the stand with a mild soapy solution. Make sure the stand is thoroughly wet, as this will open the pores of the wood and make it cleaner.
Is the stand really dirty? Then use a soft brush and wood cleaner. Wood cleaner contains special ingredients that remove algae and moss better.

The wood is impregnated so that you can enjoy it for a long time! Discoloration and small cracks in the wood are normal for wood, but the stand will not rot thanks to the impregnation.
